Eric John was born in Plattsburgh, New York, and grew up in upstate New York where he was valedictorian at Cobleskill High School. He attended the renowned Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), graduating with a BS degree in Aeronautical & Astronautical Engineering. After a successful career as an executive at Boeing, he met AVN Hall of Fame performer Misty Rain, and thanks to her influence changed careers and founded adult production company Erotique Entertainment in January 2004. Personal Life
John has had a long and successful career in the porn industry. But performing in and directing films were not the only things that encompass his career. John met his wife, Vicki Chase, while she was a teller at the bank he used. After several dates the couple eventually married. Their wedding was held at the opening day of the AVN Expo in 2010 at the "Huster" booth. So enamored by the industry was Vicki, that she later began performing in films, as well. The couple has appeared together on camera in a few productions since her debut in 2010.
